Fuck I hate it with someone says “I told you you could do it” after you accomplish something. Usually the person saying this hasn’t done shit in their life and gets their jollies throwing random statements around about things YOU can accomplish. As if the wisdom and strength they possess was channeled through their body into yours (when the only thing really channeling through their body is Meth – “Hey look Booger , another tooth fell out”) and the only way you achieved your goal was through their conviction and belief that you could overcome your excessive masturbatorial rituals that has hindered your ability to do anything worthwhile except jerk-off 30 times a day.
You see this kind of stupid shit on Facebook where someone posts they graduated from College or got a new job, or killed a drifter to get an erection – while most people post “congrats” or “good job” … some asswipe will post “I told you you could do it” and take credit for your accomplishment. And if you check that asswipe’s profile, you will find they recently signed up for their 10 year GED reunion and it will be held as soon as the Class President gets paroled from his 3 to 5 year stint selling crack out of his green Grelim. No one that respects you will take credit for your accomplishment by saying “I told you you could do it” because even if they did tell you you could do it, who the hell gives a shit because YOU fucking did it.
You think when Neil Armstrong went back to Wapakoneta during the 1969 Christmas holidays, some lardass Uncle came up to him and said (spewing stuffing and gravy-spit all over the fucking place) – “I always knew you’d be the first man on the moon – I told you you could do it”. Shut the fuck up and get back to the buffet table you fat Elvis landmass cocksucker.
